How each part is priced

Every kitchen is different, so we price the parts of the system separately. Here is exactly what each part covers and what moves the price up or down.

Canopy / hood

From $500 (covers up to 3 m)

Interior and exterior degrease of the canopy, plenum, grease gutters and drip trays. Longer canopies add about $140 per extra metre beyond the first 3 m.

Grease filters

6 included, then about $12 each

Baffle filters are removed, soaked, degreased, rinsed and refitted. Heavily loaded or damaged filters are photographed and noted in your service report.

Accessible ductwork

$100 – $220 for a typical run

Horizontal and vertical duct is cleaned through existing access points. Short runs add little or nothing; long runs over about 8 m add more. Where no access panels exist, we note it and quote separately.

Exhaust fans

1 included, then about $90 per extra fan

Fan blades, housing and grease collection areas are cleaned, and the fan is checked back into normal operation before we leave.

Roof access

$80 – $150

Added when the rooftop fan or roof area needs to be accessed safely. Includes a roof-area inspection with before-and-after photos.

Grease load & time since last clean

Adjusts the range

Wok, charcoal, chargrill and high-volume frying kitchens carry heavier grease, and systems left over 12 months take longer to bring back. Both widen the estimate.
